Introduction
Bubii ("we," "our," or "us") is developed by Yomoo. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Bubii baby tracking application ("the App"). By using Bubii, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account we collect:
- Email address
- Display name
- Profile photo (if provided via Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or manual upload)
You may sign in with email/password, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. We receive only the information those providers share as part of the authentication flow.
1.2 Baby Profile Data
- Baby's name
- Date of birth
- Avatar photo (optional)
1.3 Activity Records
Records you create about your baby's activities, including but not limited to: sleep, feeding, diaper changes, solids, pumping, medicine, temperature, growth measurements, milestones, activities, and baths. Each record may include timestamps, notes, and supplementary details.
1.4 Voice Recordings
When you use voice input, audio is captured temporarily on your device and processed client-side using Google Gemini AI to transcribe and parse your input into structured records. Voice recordings are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. They are discarded after on-device processing.
1.5 Photos
Photos you attach to activity records or memory journal entries are stored in Firebase Storage (Google Cloud). Photos used for AI parsing are processed client-side via Google Gemini.
1.6 Memory Journal
Text entries, photos, and voice notes you save in the memory journal feature.
1.7 Location Data
We may collect location data only if you explicitly grant permission, and only for the purpose of tagging activities with a location. Location access is optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
1.8 Device and Usage Data
- Push notification tokens — collected via Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications you have opted into.
- Analytics data — collected via Firebase Analytics (e.g., app opens, feature usage, crash reports). This data is anonymized and aggregated.
1.9 Subscription and Purchase Data
If you subscribe to Bubii Pro or Bubii Family, purchase information is managed by RevenueCat. We receive subscription status, plan type, and expiration dates. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Google / Firebase — Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firestore, Firebase Storage) and processed by Firebase services (Authentication, Analytics, Cloud Messaging). Voice and image inputs are processed on-device via the Google Gemini API.
- RevenueCat — Subscription status and anonymous app user IDs are shared with RevenueCat for purchase management.
- Family members — If you create or join a family group, baby profiles and activity records are shared with other members of that group. You control who is invited.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
4. Children's Privacy
Bubii is designed for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. While the App stores information about babies and young children (name, birthday, activity data), this data is entered and managed by adult users.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at support@yomoo.com and we will promptly delete it.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure via Firebase. We use industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL)
- Firebase Security Rules to restrict unauthorized access
- Authentication-gated access to all user data
- On-device processing for voice recordings (never uploaded)
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:
- Account and baby data — retained until you delete your account.
- Activity records and memories — retained until you delete them individually or delete your account.
- Voice recordings — not retained; processed on-device and discarded immediately.
- Analytics data — retained in anonymized/aggregated form per Google Analytics policies.
7. Your Rights
7.1 All Users
You may at any time:
- Access your data within the App (settings, records, profiles).
- Export your data in CSV format (available to Pro subscribers).
- Delete individual records, baby profiles, or your entire account and associated data.
- Revoke location or notification permissions in your device settings.
7.2 Rights Under the GDPR (EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including:
- Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to restriction — request that we limit processing of your data.
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (improving the App, security), and consent (optional features like location and notifications).

7.3 Rights Under the CCPA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act provides you with the following rights:

8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States, as part of Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data is protected.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, storage, analytics, cloud messaging
- Google Gemini AI — on-device natural language and image processing
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
- Apple — Apple Sign-In authentication
- Google — Google Sign-In authentication
10. Cookies and Tracking
The Bubii mobile app does not use cookies. Firebase Analytics may use device identifiers for aggregated usage statistics. You can opt out of analytics data collection by adjusting your device privacy settings or contacting us.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision took effect. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
